Developed from the very successful Echo MegaLoop™ the Echo MegaLoop+™ has two built in SCART sockets as well as the standard microphone and line inputs. This allows sound to be scarted into the amplifier when the TV SCART sockets are already in use.
In the vast majority of situations the scart fix feature solves the problem of hearing the “wrong sound” when the TV is connected to VCR, Satellite and DVD by the simple press of a button. The system comes as a complete set including 1 SCART to SCART lead and is easy to install by following the instructions provided.
MegaLoop+™ transmits high quality sound directly to the hearing aid via the telecoil ("T" setting on the hearing aid) and can deliver up to 30% extra signal strength making it the most flexible of domestic induction loop systems.
An induction loop system takes the sound from your TV or other sound source and converts it into a signal which is fed into a wire fitted in a continous loop around the edges of a room. This signal can then be picked up by a hearing aid switched on to the "T" setting. The tone and volume can then be adjusted completely independently from that coming out of the TV speaker, providing the best possible listening conditions (See diagram 2).
Sound can be taken from T.V. or audio system, scart or audio out sockets directly into the line input sockets of the MegaLoop+™ . There are two specifically designed microphone sockets, one to be used when the microphone is fixed to a T.V. or HiFi speaker and one as a priority for environmental sounds or for conversation.
